Pack Goats or Cart Goats

We will be offering an assortment of goats in 2009 that we feel have what it takes to make great Pack or Cart goats. The majority of these animals will be wethers. These will be bottle raised on pasteurized milk, disbudded (unless reserved and requested horned prior to birth) and wethered at 4-6 months old. These animals will be selected for size, conformation and pack goat temperment. The breeds offered will be Alpine, LaMancha, Nubian and crosses of these breeds. In 2010 we will be incoorperating Kiko and Boer into our pack goat lines. You will be able to pick up your pack goat about 1 week after they are wethered (4-6 months old). We will start them off with beginning training and lots of handling prior to that time. They will also have had all shots, been dewormed and guaranteed healthy at the time you receive them. Shipping can be arranged at purchasers expense as well as the cost of health papers and crate. You may also of course, pick up at the ranch. We are happy to include some information on wether diet and general care with your goat. Please reserve your goats early, otherwise they are wethered somewhat earlier and sold as pets.
