Thanks so much to Teri and Skip Hamilton of the Sequoia Wood herd for a really great girl! Valentine is a really lovely doe. She also has quite the personality. She likes a lot of attention and if I am not giving her enough, she stomps on my foot. Well I guess that is better than what Persephone used to do which was bite and run like heck! Thank goodness she has outgrown that teenage habit. Valentine is bred to Roc-et and we are actually hoping for a buck kid that would be completely unrelated to all of our other goats! I am really hoping for a Cou Blanc herdsire out of this breeding. I am sure we are going to be very pleased when Valentine freshens and eagerly awaiting Linear appraisals for 2009!
